SECoop Participates in Ministerial Coordination Meeting on Timor-Leste’s ASEAN Accession

On Monday morning, His Excellency the Secretary of State for Cooperatives (SECoop), Eng. Arsénio Pereira da Silva, M.Agr., participated in the Ministerial Line Coordination Meeting regarding Timor-Leste’s preparation for full membership in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), ahead of the 47th ASEAN Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The meeting was chaired directly by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, and was attended by members of the IX Constitutional Government, including technical staff from various ministries. It took place at the Noble Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEK), Praia dos Coqueiros, Dili.
